Come celebrate with us for Canada Day!
With the past couple of years behind us, it is time to come out and celebrate in person! We are looking forward to hosting FREE events for all ages including:
- FREE Sponsored Public Swims at 11 am & 12:30 pm
- (Sponsored by Good Auto Parts & Towsnhip of Woolwich Council)
- Family Zumba at 12 – 1 pm
- Storytime and Craft with the Region of Waterloo Library at 12 – 1 pm
- Live Music on the Field at 1 – 2pm & 3 – 4 pm
- Magic & Juggling Lessons at 1 – 2pm & 3 – 4 pm
- Magic Show at 2:30 – 3 pm
- Dance Performance at 2 – 2:30pm
- Antique Car Show at 12:30 – 3 pm
- Kids Corner at 12 – 4 pm
- Fire Truck Tour- Woolwich Fire at 12 – 4 pm
- Storybook Walk 12-4pm
- Trails Scavenger Hunt
Canada Day is an opportunity to learn about Indigenous culture. Take time to recognize the rich history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples across Canada.
- Make a donation to a local Indigenous organization (e.g. Healing of the Seven Generations or the Woodland Cultural Centre’s Save the Evidence campaign)
- Educate yourself about the Truth and Reconciliation Commission calls to action
- Support an Indigenous business or artist
