Events Description
Celebrate the 400th anniversary of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons with an electrifying performance led by acclaimed violinist Mark Fewer, praised as “freaky good” (Montreal Gazette). Joined by the exceptional University of Toronto String Virtuosi, this unforgettable concert breathes new life into Vivaldi’s timeless masterwork—complete with birdsong, thunderstorms, and frozen landscapes.
Adding a bold twist, the program features selections from Astor Piazzolla’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, pulsing with Latin passion and urban intensity. The evening also showcases original works by contemporary Canadian composers, bridging tradition and innovation in one extraordinary musical celebration.
