Events Description
The team behind Kensington Flea brings a new market experience and independent vendors to Honest Ed’s Alley
The October event will be the inaugural edition of The Alley Bazaar and its only market of 2026. Beginning in May 2027, The Alley Bazaar will return every weekend with a rotating selection of independent vendors.
The launch will also mark the opening of the alley’s first independent shops, bringing together local makers, artists, designers and small businesses in a lively new setting at Bathurst and Bloor.
Inspired by the energy and community of Kensington Flea, The Alley Bazaar will offer visitors the chance to discover handmade goods, vintage finds, art, jewellery, collectibles, gifts, home décor and other unique products from Toronto entrepreneurs.
“The Alley Bazaar is about creating an accessible and exciting place for small businesses while giving people a new way to shop local,” says organizer Brock Shepherd. “We want the alley to feel like a place of discovery—somewhere visitors can meet the people behind the products and find something unexpected.”
Located within Honest Ed’s Alley, the market builds on the area’s long history as a gathering place for independent businesses, artists and the surrounding community. The alley’s small-format retail spaces offer emerging businesses an opportunity to establish a physical presence in one of Toronto’s most recognizable neighbourhoods.
Visitors to the October 17 launch will be among the first to explore The Alley Bazaar, meet its vendors and discover the first independent shops opening in Honest Ed’s Alley. The event is free and open to everyone.
