Inspired by the Children’s classic; The Little Engine that Could, comes this silly acrobatic clown show the whole family will enjoy!
The Grand Salto Theatre, (Zita Nyarady and Myque Franz) is known for creating playful, physical and thought provoking performance that blends theatre, circus, clown, mask and dance.
Their critically acclaimed and award winning work has been presented across Canada and internationally. Highlights include HarbourKIDS, The Toronto Festival of Clowns, Montreal Clown Festival, Edmonton Play the Fool Festival, Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Toronto Buskerfest, In the Soil Festival, Centaur Theatre and with Odin Teatret in Denmark.
Their passion for the physical and spectacle arts is reflected in their eclectic performance creations that range from vibrant characters (Philip & Lucinda, BeeBo & Bop) to exquisite storytelling (Szeretlek: A Hungarian Love Story) to unique circus-theatre experiences for events (Salto Spectacle)
