Vir Das is emerging as one of the most beloved global comedic voices of the 21st century with The New York Times gushing, “no artist embodies the globalization of standup like Vir Das.” His fourth and most recent Netflix comedy special Landing premiered in December 2022 to universal praise from fans and critics alike. The special, which he also directed, is a story about freedom, foolishness, the west, the east, the notion of home, and what it means to be a citizen of one nation in a global world. Das’ new tour comes on the heels of releasing a universally acclaimed fourth Netflix comedy special, clocking in as last year’s second best-selling act in India’s crowded live entertainment market, and ranking as one of the top comedy sellers worldwide.
