A line-up of inspired exploration to allow you to connect, learn, and explore our intrinsic connection with the natural world.
Take part in various nature-inspired activities, crafts, games, and exploration, and let your adventurous side come to life. Each week we will feature a different activity geared towards varying ages, helping you get connected with nature.
These self-guided experiences will help you see and interact with nature in a new way – and inspire you to keep looking for ways to connect and do good for the planet long after your visit.

Getting to FortWhyte Alive via downtown Winnipeg:
Take Pembina Hwy {route 42} south until you reach McGillivray Blvd {route 155}
Turn west on {155} and drive past the FortWhyte Alive Outdoor Adventure Site entrance until you see the FortWhyte Alive turnoff at McCreary Road (it is clearly marked).
