The world’s largest travelling carnival along with exciting agricultural displays are back in Winnipeg this June. From thrill rides to magical performances, The Ex offers fun for families and friends. Plus, our juried art, photography and quilt competitions are returning, showcasing Manitobans’ talent and creativity.

Enjoy tasty treats, more than 50 midway rides and over 200 hours of live performances from big names and community groups at the Red River Ex!

Advance Tickets

Gate Admission Only – $14.28 + GST

Advanced Gate Admission + Ride All-Day Wristband: $47 + GST (until June 15) Includes gate admission and Ride All-Day wristband for one person. Best buy for midway riders! After June 15th, prices go up to $57.

Advanced Midway EXpress Access Pass: $20 + GST (until June 15)

Hop into the priority line and enjoy more rides. The Advance Midway Express Pass requires Gate Admission + Ride Tickets or Ride All-Day wristband and is only available online.

Event Day Tickets – June 16-25

After June 16, ticket prices for The Ex are:

Gate Tickets Purchased on Site: $15 (includes GST)

Gate tickets get you in to all the action at The Ex and access to the free attractions. Ride Tickets and Ride All-Day Wristbands must be purchased separately. Children aged six and under get free gate admission every day!

Early Gate Weekday Special: $10 Before 5 PM (includes GST)

Purchase gate tickets at The Ex before 5PM and save $5 every weekday.

Ride All-Day Wristband: $53 (includes GST)

Enjoy unlimited rides with a Ride All-Day wristband. Does not include gate admission (must be purchased separately)

Midway EXpress Access Pass: $25 (includes GST) Gives you access to the priority line so you can get more rides in!

Special Days
Sunday June 18 – Caribbean Day – Free admission from Noon – 1 PM.

Weekday Discount – Come to The EX any weekday (Monday to Friday) before 5 p.m. and receive gate admission for $5 off the regular price.

Monday June 19 – Hero’s Day – Free gate admission for all military personnel, police and firefighters, nurses and teachers upon presentation of their ID, at any ticket purchase booth.

Tuesday June 20 – Seniors’ Day – Seniors and their families will find lots of related programming on the Red Barn Stage and community stage, quilt, art and photo competitions inside Exhibition Place and free coffee and donuts! Seniors 60 plus receive $5 off regular gate admission all day.

Wednesday June 21 – Indigenous Peoples Appreciation Day – All Treaty and Manitoba Metis Federation card holders will receive free admission from 3pm-5pm. A traditional Pow Wow will engage the audience while they learn about Indigenous culture. Tipis will be set up for guests to explore.

Thursday June 22 – Filipino Day – Our partners from the Filipino Journal welcome their community to visit the Red River Ex on this day. Their promotion on social media and through their newspaper invites young and those young at heart to attend.

Sunday June 25 – Kids’ Day – Free admission 11 AM – Noon and a free pancake breakfast at The Loop, with a donation to the Red River Exhibition Foundation. Kids under 10 years old can ride all they want for $20 (includes GST). Valid for Kiddieland rides and only available for purchase at the Park.
