Bannock Competition

Do you have the best bannock recipe? Join the 3rd annual Bannock Competition taking place at Holiday Alley, November 21, 2026. This competition offers a wonderful opportunity to showcase your best bannock recipe and earn bragging rights as a Bannock Legend.

How to enter? Bring your bannock to the Selkirk Friendship Centre between 4PM–5:30PM on the day of the event. The tasting will commence at 5:30PM, where a panel of judges will evaluate the entries based on taste and texture. Winners will be announced at 6PM. Gift card prizes for the winners!

This event is hosted by the Interlake Art Board in collaboration with Holiday Alley.
