Events Description
Eric Gyselman will guide participants through the entire process of shaping a wooden canoe paddle, allowing you to create and take home your very own!
Eric Gyselman has been paddling and working with wood for more than 60 years. His passion, a combination of these skills, is restoring vintage canoes and building bespoke paddles. Favouring traditional skills, Eric will teach this course using basic edged tools: planes, spokeshaves, drawknives, scrapers and files (provided for the course).
