Events Description
RAW:almond is a 22-day fine dining festival hosted on the frozen rivers of Winnipeg, Manitoba in a one-of-a-kind temporary structure. World class chefs gather to create a pop-up restaurant experience like no other. RAW:almond is co-founded by Deer + Almond Chef, Mandel Hitzer and the founding director of RAW:Gallery of Architecture and Design, Joe Kalturnyk.
Each year, Deer + Almond chef and concept co-founder, Mandel Hitzer reaches out to the greater culinary community to invite world-class talent to cook and celebrate their creations at RAW:almond. The event annually sees more than 20 chefs creating once-in-a-lifetime menus for 22 unforgettable nights in Manitoba.
RAW:almond 2025 will feature local Manitoba chefs as well as chefs from across Canada, USA, Mexico and more!
