Immerse yourself in the pinnacle of Romantic ballet with Giselle, a haunting tale of love, betrayal, and sacrifice. This timeless masterpiece, choreographed by Peter Wright after Petipa, features ethereal pointework and stunning costumes by Peter Farmer.
Follow the virtuous young villager Giselle, whose pure and innocent love for Duke Albrecht is cruelly shattered by jealousy and betrayal, sealing her tragic fate. Her spirit, now entwined with the Wilis—vengeful spirits of betrayed women—haunts the shadowy forest. As Albrecht mourns at Giselle’s grave, her undying love becomes his only hope to escape the deadly grasp of the Wilis’ enchanting dance.
