A program of lyric beauty and dramatic contrast, led by Hossein Pishkar. Winnipeg-born soprano Andriana Chuchman returns home for Hector Berlioz’s Les nuits d’été (Summer Nights), six songs tracing a journey from love to memory. Afterward comes Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 4 in C minor, “Tragic,” written when he was just 19.
