Marking the evening after Remembrance Day, this all-British program culminates in Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations, which paints affectionate portraits including the famous “Nimrod.” Guest conductor Chloe Rooke leads Benjamin Britten’s Four Sea Interludes and Passacaglia from Peter Grimes, and George Butterworth’s The Banks of Green Willow, a pastoral folk inspired piece.
