Designated as a Provincial Park in 1974, this 0.68-hectare park is Manitoba’s smallest provincial park. Initially developed as a picnic stop along the highway, the natural setting of the park today attracts many birdwatchers and anglers. The boat launch at the park provides anglers a point of access to the Winnipeg River for boating and fishing. One can see ruffed grouse, white-tailed deer, black bear, and other small mammals in the forest around the park.
Activities include bird watching, boating, fishing. Picnic area, boat launch.
Near the Park: Whitemouth Falls Provincial Park, located minutes away, is a staging and nesting area for Great gray owls. Tee-off at Pinawa Golf & Country Club. Discover Pinawa and then hike the Trans-Canada Trail or enjoy the many activities at the Pinawa Dam Provincial Park.
Camping: No camping
Wilderness Edge Retreat & Conference Centre, Pinawa Motel, Otter Falls Resort are within 30 mins drive.

Vehicle Permits
- Annual $44.50 (valid until April 30, 2025)
- Casual $16.50 (valid for three consecutive days)
- Daily $9.50 (valid until midnight on the date of purchase)
Free Park Entry Dates for 2024 (Vehicle permits are not required)
- February 1-29, free for the entire month
- Family Fishing Weekend (June 7 – 9)
- Canada’s Parks Day Weekend (July 15 – 21)
- Labour Day Weekend (August 30-September 2)
