Located on the south basin of Lake Manitoba, Saint Ambroise Beach Provincial Park is a bird-watcher’s paradise with lots of migratory birds including pelicans, warblers, geese. Its shallow waters makes it a very popular destination for families. Come here for a family picnic or listen to the songs of birds. Along the shores you can see the nests of piping plover. The viewing tower gives a bird’s eye view of the park. The nearby sand islets can be accessed by boats from nearby boat docks. Experience the wetland as you move along the Sioux Pass Marsh boardwalk.

Fun Activities

Activities include canoeing, kayaking, children’s programs, fishing, hiking, wind-surfing, bird watching, and swimming. Picnic areas, Beach, Playground, volleyball court.

Located at 40 min drive away is the Delta Marsh Wildlife Management Area. Come here, to watch migratory birds.
