Chief Public Health Officer, Dr. Heather Morrison, announced that effective March 17, 2020, all public licensed child care centres will be closed until further notice and all public schools will be closed for two weeks following March Break.
This means that the children will be out of schools from March 16 until April 5, 2020, inclusive of Saturday & Sunday. Ontario also closed schools until April 5.
The province is also closing Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park at Brookvale, and all provincially run visitor information centres with immediate effect.
