Doon Heritage Village Reopens July 1
Doon Heritage Village is open to visitors seven days a week through July and August, starting July 1!
There will be animals, costumed staff, food, and new stories to tell! Bring the whole family to experience this magical day full of music, food, and an old-fashioned 1914 good time! Plus, for one day only, you can experience Doon for Free!
Enjoy entertainment throughout the Museum and Village, including music from Errol Blackwood and Injah Band, Jesse T, and The Vaudevillian. Join us for lessons with Guys N’ Dolls Square Dancing, or get your face painted by Busy Bee Face Painting.

Visit historic buildings and barns:
Train Station – Receive a replica train ticket
Martin House – Learn to play crokinole
Weavery – Weaving demo and finger weaving
Dry Goods Store – Sample saltwater taffy (while supplies last)
Harness Shop – Receive a leather tag (while supplies last)
Post Office/Tailor Shop – Receive a postcard
Meat Market – Enjoy a cured meat sample
Seibert House – Try doing laundry manually
Church – Listen to a cappella 1914-era songs and hymns.

Timed Activities
11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. – Music from Jesse T under the shade structure.
11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Hotdogs (meat & vegetarian) are available for purchase on the patio. Hazel’s Snack Bar will be open with snacks like popcorn, ice cream, drinks, and pretzels for sale.
12 to 3 p.m. – Tractor Rides
12:30 to 1:15 p.m. – Hear music from The Vaudevillain in the Shuh Barn.
1:30 to 3:30 p.m. – Dance Lessons with Guys and Dolls square dancing in the foyer.
1:45 to 2:30 p.m. – Music from The Vaudevillain in the Shuh Barn.
1:45 to 4 p.m. – Music from Errol Blackwood and Injah Band under the shade structure.
3 to 3:45 p.m. – Music from The Vaudevillain in the Shuh Barn.
All Day – Facepainting with Busy Bee Face Painting.
