There’s nothing more British than afternoon tea, but how did an ancient Chinese beverage previously unknown to Europe become the national drink of England? Join collections registrar Inés Bonacossa on Sunday, March 24th for this instalment of the Language of Dalnavert lecture series and discover the story of smuggling, greed, and war that ensued on the quest for all the tea in China.
