Events Description
We are excited to present a programme of exceptional films from around the world (including premiere screenings) that encompass the joy, pain, humour, richness, and creativity of the Jewish experience. Storytelling is at the heart of Jewish culture. And, like you, we are passionate about the power of film to inspire, educate, entertain, spark conversations and build bridges within and outside of the Jewish community.
This Year, We Celebrate 25 Years of Collective Experiences
The Winnipeg International Jewish Film Festival returns May 6 to May 23 with unforgettable stories on the big screen.
For 25 years, this festival has been about more than just films. It is about sitting together. It’s about laughing together. It’s about reflecting together.
And it’s about experiencing stories that stay with you long after the credits roll.
This year’s lineup is filled with powerful documentaries, heartfelt dramas, and feel-good comedies from around the world, along with special events that make every visit to the theatre something more. Note that all films are rated 18A – Persons under 18 years of age must view these films accompanied by an adult.
