Ivanie Blondin, Valérie Maltais and Isabelle Weidemann repeated as Olympic champions in the women’s team pursuit, four years after winning gold at Beijing 2022. The Canadians secured their place in Final A by defeating the United States in the semifinal.

The partnership dates back to the 2018–19 season, when Maltais transitioned from short track to long track speed skating. Since then, the trio has reached the podium at five consecutive ISU World Single Distances Championships, collecting gold in 2023, silver in 2021 and 2024, and bronze in 2020 and 2025.

Mikaël Kingsbury captured Canada’s gold in men’s dual moguls on Sunday. It marks his second medal of these Games and the fifth Olympic medal of his career.

Megan Oldham also stood atop the podium, winning women’s ski big air. The victory gives her two medals, making her the first Canadian woman to claim two freestyle skiing medals at a single Olympic Winter Games.

Canada’s overall medal count now sits at 12, including four silver and five bronze medals.
