Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign will be back for the 2026 season on April 27.

The week-long fundraiser, which began Monday and runs until May 3, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a familiar promise. Every dollar from each cookie sold will go directly to local causes.
The cookies feature the brand’s Chocolate Chunk variety, decorated with pink and blue icing to resemble a smile.
There is also a new addition this year. A four-in-one Smile Cookie plush toy is being sold alongside the campaign, with its net proceeds also going to local charities.
Since its launch, the campaign has raised more than $151 million across Canada and the United States. Last year alone, customers contributed $22.6 million. This time around, proceeds will support nearly 700 charities and community groups across Canada, chosen by individual restaurant owners.
Introduced in 1996 in Hamilton to benefit the local children’s hospital, the campaign has since amassed more than $129 million in donations across Canada and the United States. Funds have aided various organizations, including hospitals, community care groups, food banks, and schools.
Customers wishing to contribute can purchase Smile Cookies directly at Tim Hortons locations or through the Tim Hortons mobile app.
Bulk orders are also available by request at participating locations.
