The Fish Festival provides an opportunity for Manitobans and visitors to learn about the world class fishing in Manitoba, with a focus on fishing within urban areas and the benefits of participating in this life long recreational leisure activity that can be enjoyed by all.
The fish festival is for anyone who wants to learn more about fish and fishing and offers a variety of fishing activities including kid’s fishing activity stations, frozen fish display, learn to fish clinics, catfishing seminar, arts and crafts, fish filleting demonstration, kids casting lane, pickerel rig tying contest, Aquatic Invasive Species information, various fishing related vendors, prizes and much more.
Meet and have your picture taken with “Freddy the Fish” and enter the Grand Prize draw for a 4 hour fishing trip for 3 people with City Cats Guiding Service.
