Events Description
Travel to three diverse parts of the world in one night and explore human rights! Join Folklorama and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights as they host a festive evening of cultural performances and storytelling in the Museum’s iconic building.
Hoop dancers Brian Clyne and Lawrence “Clifford” Spence kick off the event with a lively performance. Enjoy vibrant dance, flavours and music from Winnipeg’s Chilean, Greek and Irish communities.
Learn about human rights stories while browsing through a number of the Museum’s galleries. Featured food items from all three areas will be prepared by WOW!
Catering and offered in concession/snack form; there will also be a cash bar. Attendees will be given three vouchers to use at each station.
This event will be primarily in English. Our building strives to be accessible to all.
