Visit the Vatican Museum, Virtually
Before the times of Covid-19, Easter was a time when many visited the famed Vatican Museum. The Vatican Museums has a very extensive collection of art and sculptures gathered by successive Popes over the centuries, as well as some of Apostolic Palace’s most artistic rooms. When Covid-19 forced the museum to shut its physical doors, the Museum opened virtually with virtual tours of the grounds and treasured exhibits. You can also do a 360° virtual tour of the Sistine Chapel, where one can see the painting of Michelangelo’s Last Judgment behind the altar wall as well as the Stories of Genesis on the ceiling.
