II. Official Canada Day Celebrations
City of Edmonton/Alberta Leg. Celebrations
The fireworks display at 11 p.m. will be choreographed to music by the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. Tune into CBC Radio 93.9 FM and 740 AM during the fireworks to listen.
No celebrations at City Hall or at Alberta Legislature grounds.
The City of Edmonton is asking Edmontonians to demonstrate their commitment to reconciliation by reflecting on the legacy of residential schools this Canada Day.
The City will light the Walterdale Bridge, High Level Bridge, City Hall, and Muttart Conservatory in orange on July 1, 2, 3 and 4 and the Rossdale Power Plant on July 1. Edmontonians may wish to wear orange, or display orange lights on their homes or in their windows during that period.

Celebrate Canada Day in Strathcona County for a full week this year! From June 28 to July 4, Strathcona County will be offering the community a wide range of FREE in-person, drive-thru, virtual activities and fireworks for the entire family to celebrate Canada Day.
